SYNOPSIS
Born in a land of drug cartels and carnival queens, Mickey found in social media a platform where she can explore her sexual identity and deal with the deep homophobia of her environment. Through Mickey’s and Dano’s complicity, they reconstruct her past memories using the collective data in social media. Is it possible to construct a film through the use of the collective memories on Google?

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Dano García is the director of the New York Times Op-Doc short Unsilenced (2016) and director and producer of the feature documentary film Kings of Nowhere (2015), which received the SX:Global Audience Award at SXSW, the Grand Jury Award at Full Frame Documentary Festival, Best Documentary at the Morelia International Film Festival, among others. The documentary is distributed by FilmBuff and was bought by SundanceTV. She directed the short film The Girl with Two Heads (2018), which won San Sebastian Film Festival’s Orona Award.
