Jacob Burns Film Center

Creative Culture at the Jacob Burns Film Center supports filmmakers from Chicken & Egg Pictures with an annual residency experience, providing two members of a film team with the time, space, and resources to do significant work on their feature length project over the course of four to six weeks. The Jacob Burns Film Center  is also happy to offer fiscal sponsorship to Nest-supported filmmakers.

New York Road Runners

New York Road Runners is the world’s premier community running organization, serving nearly 600,000 runners of all ages and abilities annually through hundreds of races, community open runs, walks, training sessions, and other running-related programming. Chicken & Egg Pictures is an Official Charity Partner for the 2019 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon.

 

 

LUNAFEST

In 2000, LUNA started LUNAFEST—a traveling film festival celebrating, showcasing and championing women in film. The festival is a fundraiser held by any host who wants to raise funds for a local women’s cause while supporting their main nonprofit beneficiary, Chicken & Egg Pictures.

The MacArthur Foundation

The MacArthur Foundation supports the (Egg)celerator Lab for first- and second-time filmmakers and previously supported the Diversity Fellows Initiative and the Impact & Innovation Initiative (past programs).

Time Warner Foundation

The Time Warner Foundation generously supports our (Egg)ccelerator Lab for first- and second-time filmmakers, our Chicken & Egg Award, and our Diversity Fellows Initiative (past program).

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences

Chicken & Egg Pictures received a FilmCraft grant from the Academy Foundation of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in support of the Accelerator Lab for first- and second-time filmmakers. The Academy’s FilmCraft and FilmWatch grants were established to identify and empower future filmmakers from nontraditional backgrounds, cultivate new and diverse talent, promote motion pictures as an art form, and provide a platform for underrepresented artists.

The Whickers

The Whickers, founded by journalist Alan Whicker in order to encourage a new generation of documentary makers, partnered with Chicken & Egg Pictures to help support the (Egg)celerator Lab for first- and second-time filmmakers.

Perspective Fund

PERSPECTIVE FUND supports documentaries and other projects that raise awareness, connect people, inspire action, and create impact around human rights and social justice. They partnered with Chicken & Egg Pictures to support our inaugural NEXT GEN EGG event in October 2017, which invited twelve first- and second-time filmmakers from around the world who participated in our (Egg)celerator Lab and Diversity Fellows Initiative (past program) to share their film projects with film funders and industry professionals.

Artemis Rising Foundation

Chicken & Egg Pictures partnered with Artemis Rising Foundation to produce five original shorts, created and directed by women, for the 2017 TEDWomen conference in New Orleans. The films centered on the theme of the conference, “Bridges.” Led by Regina K. Scully, Artemis Rising Foundation is a philanthropic organization dedicated to developing and promoting media, education, and healing projects that transform our culture.
